Summer Program
The Summer Program is now open for registration!
A fun and enriching performing arts camp just blocks away (347 Grand St). Make new friends in the neighborhood, learn cool skills and build confidence to last a lifetime.
The Williamsburg Movement & Arts Center (WMAAC) is a place of creativity, wonder, and fun. We are dedicated to introducing the love of dance and it's counterparts to our community. Our faculty consists of professional artists from the Big Apple Circus, Alvin Ailey, The Lion King and more. Our facility includes full 4 beautiful studios with our neighborhood playground (with sprinklers!) just 2 blocks away.
We offer flexibility in our program by allowing you to decide how many and which days you would like your child to attend. There are no minimum day requirements. Whether one day or all week, we provide a stimulating physical atmosphere to encourage and nurture young artists. School's out, but "learning" in a dynamic & fun filled environment at WMAAC carries on!
Each week will feature a different theme, such as:
Circus Skills & Thrills- From juggling & object balancing to trapeze and tight wire, this week is sure to have all of us "clowning around".
Dance Uproar- The ultimate move & groove experience! A range of dance styles including modern, hip hop, break dance, and capoeira.
Rockin' Tumbling- How to fuse the strength and physicality of gymnastics with a rhythm & beat? The answer, combine the skills (forward rolls, handstand, bridges, and cartwheels) with some fab music and create your own choreography.
The Show Must Go On- Our young actors use partner work, improvisation, and performance techniques to create their own production complete with designing/building sets, costumes and staging.
Glee Club-Spanning the arc of musical theater and pop culture we will have a blast recreating our own Great White Way.

9:00-9:15 Arrival

10:45-12:00 Glee club (4-6yr)//Circus-tumbling, skills & drills (7-12yr)
12:00-12:30 Lunch
12:30-1:30 Playground/Sprinklers
1:30-1:45 Snack
1:45-2:45 Music in Spanish/Crafty Science/ {Friday's are field trip day!}
2:45-3:00pm-Dance party/pick up
3:00pm-6:00pm- optional extended day
Tuition: Full Week- $375 Per Day-$85 Extended Day-$30 {3pm-6pm}
Camp is Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. Space is limited and registration is on a first come basis.There are no minimum day requirements.
