Frank Rupp

Teaching Artist

Since the age of 7, Frank has been Irish Dancing competitively and as a performer throughout the northeast. He has competed on the local, national, and international scale, with his most notable achievements including 1st Place at the New England Regional Championships (2005, 2006) and medaling at the North American Championships twice. He also qualified for the World Championships five times, during which he had pleasure of competing twice in Belfast and once in Ennis.

Frank credits his competitive experience with shaping his work ethic and his performing in numerous festivals and events for developing his love of the sport. In addition to numerous television appearances, Frank has performed alongside the likes of Eileen Ivers, Hal Roach, and Gaelic Storm. Additionally, he has choreographed multiple dances for the Fairfield County Irish Festivals as well as other recitals and shows.

Frank graduated from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration in May 2010. Since November 2010, he has been a registered member of the Irish Dance Commission in Dublin and the Irish Dance Teachers Associations of North America and New England. He continues to broaden his skills through teaching opportunities at WMAAC, including acting, world dance, and line dancing.
